Khushi Kumari Gupta

The prodigal child of journalism, she doesn’t fail to amaze even her hardest critics with her fresh approach and path-breaking stories. Gifted with infallible intuition and a sharp intellect, she is a natural at reading minds. She is never ashamed of being driven by her instincts and principles. Though her ebullient and vivacious personality is the life and soul of any gathering with her friends, she can be a most reserved and diligent employee at work. She is not afraid of voicing her opinion and has the spine to take on any challenge. She is also extremely stubborn, and tends to judge people very soon, and is reluctant to change her opinion of them. Even though she is innocent and inept at playing politics in her workplace, her strong ethics, beliefs and sense of justice wins several hearts. And the innocence which is a bane for her career, becomes a boon when it catches a certain someone’s eye.

Arnav Singh Raizada

Girls just swoon at his persona. But if you turn him the wrong way, it won’t be long before you’ll want to spit at him. Extremely suave and charming when he’s in a good mood, but be prepared for a lethal cold war with him, in which you are bound to lose, if you get on his wrong side. He can seduce with just his words, and his sharp mind and ability to read between the lines makes him one of the living legends of Indian journalism. It’s difficult to gain his trust but if you do, there’s no pillar stronger than him. He’s sinfully handsome and painfully aware of it. An extremely subtle player, he  knows his lines way too well. It is not that he does not have his own principles, but he never bothers to prove it. Sarcasm and passion go hand in hand with ASR, when he finds himself drawn to a woman who’s born to be opposite yet equal to him. With male ego rushing through his veins and a tendency to fall into a cycle of negative emotions, he’ll go to any extent to prove that he’s a nightmare come true.

Anjali Roy

She is the perfect classy vamp. But beneath the hardened exterior, lay levels of insecurities which make her the woman she is. The bitterness in her life having made her a sadist, her tiny joys now lie entirely in ensuring a certain Gupta does not succeed in her life. She is almost desperate to lay her hands on ASR, entirely because of his power and position. She is driven by materialism, and gaining power and wealth are her only goals. And to achieve these, she can lose all moral and ethical sense. Yet you can’t fail to note the wisdom shining through her shrewdness.

Aman Khuraana

The most entertaining anti-hero. He had always regarded himself as the rightful heir to the Director’s post, and so even since Arnav was brought in for the post instead of him, he bears a continuous grudge against Arnav, and their silent rivalry has only grown fiercer with time. Schmoozing and sucking up to bosses is his way of climbing the professional ladder. He has several dirty tricks up his sleeve, which he won’t shy away from playing! But despite this series of negative traits, his sharp mind, sharp features and intelligence (if only he knew that) make Aman one of the leading news anchors in Indian media.

Aakash Singhania

The comical head of MBC. However, he is one of the shrewdest of the lot. He constantly has an eye on everyone and even though he barely lets it out, he knows exactly what each of his employees is up to. An eagle with a smile. More than a friend for Arnav and one of the most delightful characters of the lot. Even at the ripe age of forty nine, he has the youngest of hearts and the sharpest of brains.

Nazir Khan

A sweet guy and the perfect boy next door. He is understanding and mature. However, he is highly emotional and may not always understand and accept different perspectives. The best person to rely on. One can open up to him be assured of honest help without any hidden agenda. However, under the shells of a chocolate boy, there’s a highly reserved and detached person, whom very few manage to perceive. He doesn’t take rejection too well and can almost be slightly heartless if he’s pushed too far.

Lavanya Kashyap

Having grown up under the care of a negligent single father, Lavanya is a sharp, no-nonsense and competitive journalist. Being more mature than the others, she’s born with a mother hen nature and tries to interfere in everyone’s lives - for their betterment. She is genuinely affectionate towards the people she loves, but a little too easily overcome by jealousy. She considers herself as knowing all about the ways of the world, and consequently that everyone should subscribe to her opinions. Internally, however, the ghosts of the past have never left her, and she’s still that insecure child who craves for love and affection.

Payal Gupta

Wife of Late Squadron Leader Abhijit Gupta, she’s a woman of grace and elegance. Though they are as different as chalk and cheese, she shares a deep relationship with her daughter. Slightly traditional and protective towards her elder one, Payal finds it difficult to believe that her children have grown up. However, she and her daughter share one trait - stubbornness.

Sheetal Bajaj

A shrewd and cold blooded woman. Can be considered almost psychologically ill as she’s a total sadist and enjoys the thrill of inflicting pain in various ways. But the less we know about her, the better.

• KR is black cause he’s a sleeping partner sort of. Arnav / Aman are in the same colour (but darker colour for Arnav showing that that’s where Aman could reach) but different level as they work together covering similar  fields of work. The rest have different colours based on their responsibilities which show that they’re on the same level but have different responsibilities.
