Woh Humsafar Tha - Chapter 5

Minutes

One fifty six.

One fifty seven.

One fifty eight.

One fifty nine.

Her eyes were trained to the wall clock above her. In spite of the fatigue digging in her muscles, she barely batted an eyelid as she watched the clock silently strike two. The Raizadas and Guptas had gathered to mourn for the dead unborn, but their hushes were easily overcome by the faint tick tock of the metal clock.

Woh Humsafar Tha - Chapter 1

“Too Late To Repent”

“I was too late to see her tears, too late to hear her cries, too late to smell her fear. I was simply too late.”
- JS

Arnav jerked against his seatbelt as his car came to a miraculous stop, nearly missing an inch from running over a frightened boy. As the beggar child scampered away, Arnav banged his hand against the steering wheel and parked his car aside.

“Too Beautiful To Live”

"It's not supposed to hurt, I am a woman... I am strong enough.
It's supposed break my dreams, I am a woman... I am hopeful enough.
It's not supposed to kill me, I am a woman... I am willful enough.
It's supposed to ruin me, I am a woman... I am foolish enough.
Stop... stop! Before a woman, I am a human.
A human who has a mind to live on, a heart to hurt on."

Perfectly Flawed - Q & A Session

The Family Tree

Check out the image at http://i.imgur.com/FGFd42F.png
Why so much about the family - The family is the bridge to Arnav and Khushi. They might be the strongest pillars of the story but if the path in between doesn't exist then one end can't meet the other. And somehow the family, I believe, has become a very intertwined part of defining Arnav and Khushi. I know right know there seems a lot of family part but trust me, once the story is complete... you might catch up on the family parts you decided to skip!
Is Payal older than Akash :O - Yes. By 6 years.
Aren't Arnav and Khushi into incest since they're related? - Nope. According to the (very) complicated family tree above, only Akash's relationship changes with all. Arnav and Khushi don't end up becoming blood related by any manner (trust me I really went through this very hard. These guys deserve another whole chapter. Call this an important filler if you like.
Okay, what was the need of Akash to be Garima's kid? - Alrighto, I really wished for a darker past. Not demeaning the suicide - that's very much a part of the story. But if they wanted to be a scandalous family, a few illegitimate kids and sexual affairs were needed. That's why the complicated (very) family tree.
Aha, and why is the author answering these questions? - I hope that my updates end up answering every query, but this is still to some who feel lost or feel cheated out of Arnav Khushi parts in this story.

EPISODE NINE

“Ah!” Anjali sighed contentedly as the warm liquid seeped down her throat. The throbbing ache in her head reduced considerably. Finishing her black coffee, she was just about to leave for her cabin when she heard an unbearably loud squeaky voice on the table next to hers.

Anjali’s headache came back at once.

EPISODE SEVEN

“Miss Braveheart?” Arnav asked as he picked up a card from Khushi’s desk

Khushi chuckled in response, “Yeah… they did that for me, really sweet of them.” Her face lit up with a natural glow, as she thought about the wonderful surprise and all their love.

“So… a second visit in the day, am I missing anything?” she asked, slightly hoping that he wanted to enquire after her health. He looked into Khushi’s eyes and for a second words dried on his lips as he focused at her large, hazel eyes.

EPISODE SEVEN

Blood.

Thick, odious, crimson blood.

Khushi’s feet drew to an abrupt halt, her eyes wide with horror as she saw blood splattered all over the floor. She was too shocked to react. Her throat was parched and her hands trembled. She was oblivious to the phone pressed against her ear.
