SHORT STORIES

Short Stories : a story with a fully developed theme but significantly shorter and less elaborate than a novel.

Thus is this case, the shows I seem to follow are (mostly Indian ones) such as the evergreen Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, finite series Reporters and a weekend cop show - Arjun. However, for all those who have no clue about these shows, they can read the stories just like any independent one for you see, the characters inspire me more :) And even my short stories, mainly deal with these characters but again you can read them as independent stories!

So over here Short Stories deals with those stories which have less than 15 chapters!

ISS PYAAR KO KYA NAAM DOON

A show wherein an arrogant yet broken man finds love in the most unlikely in possibilities. In a happy, chirpy and a heart too full of love. Therefore it's no surprise why this 'almost' Mills and Boons story found its way in my heart and fired my writing instinct!

PERFECTLY FLAWED

Status

Complete

Genre

Angst, romance, redemption, family, drama

Plot

A Brooding CEO.

A Lively Girl.

The Perfect Love Story? Not really.

The marriage they are in speaks nothing of the whirlwind romance they had once shared, the snippets of which remain in a mere flashbacks. The chase has died down, revealing their status differences much more than they had expected. Belonging to a huge, dark family - Arnav Singh Raizada finds the demons of his past returning as secrets of a forced marriage, a misunderstood affair and an illegitimate child is revealed.

Amidst all, can he and his love survive the torrid of reality? Will his happiness, his Khushi ever come back to him? In this process the harsh, crude pasts of Maliks, Raizadas and Guptas are dug out.

Statutory Warning

Based on the Indian show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. There would be slight references but one doesn't have to be excessively familiar with it to understand this story. If you enjoy angst with my (drastic) efforts to bring realism - this is for you. Again - you may find it too subtle or too dramatic. Also, Khushi and Arnav don't have too many dialogues towards the end - it's their actions - so be warned! :D

Plot

The day he sweetly wishes to move forward with her, the night he calls her the biggest mistake of her life. For the man who was masked as her companion, what happens when he realises that he left her hand too soon?

Meet Arnav and Khushi Singh Raizada. Married under a misunderstood contract, they have finally found their way to love unless he blames her for his sister's attempt to abortion, his sadness and his sister's ill tryst with fate. Though he knew Khushi suffered as much, or even more at the hands of fate. Once bounded to him on the safety of her sister's marriage... Khushi finds it hard to believe that she had once loved this man. The man she called hers.

So when Arnav calls her the biggest mistake of his life, Khushi finally does to what would have happened to any girl who loved her man - she broke. Akash and Payal flicker amidst their torrid of emotions and Anjali may not have been that blind

Statutory Warning

Heavy on drama and emotions, if you're someone who's interested in redemption and one finding one's own then this story is for you. There's going to be deep pain in the beginning, but then I promise you two things - there'll be a happy ending but the redemption will be of slightly different sort.

Genre

Romance, Comedy

Plot

What happens when your husband's college friend drops by?

Let me rephrase, what happens when your multimillionaire husband's hotshot coworker/model/college friend/ex-girlfriend drops by?

Khushi Kumari Gupta, content in her world of a tiffin business finds her world tilt shift when her brooding fashion magnate of a husband turns to a chuckling lad around Sheetal - who's everything she isn't. Highly educated, polished, sophisticated, gorgeous.

Fu*k.

Well then, nothing wouldn't have been much a problem until Sheetal starts dominating over Khushi and Arnav. Especially Arnav.

With the females of the Raizada household backing her and a few desi 'tadkas' at hand, Arnav Singh Raizada has no idea what hit him when Missus Raizada arises in her full fury.

Statutory Warning

I suck at comedy. Big time. But this is going to be a light series! So chill and enjoy :)

KHUSHI

Status

Ongoing

Genre

Self-love, redemption, angst, romance

Plot

The problems were supposed to be over. No Shyam. No Sheetal. Only Arnav, Khushi and their adopted kid - Aarav.

That was the problem.

Stepping out of his shoe of a husband, Khushi is heartbroken as Arnav labels her brainless, coward and a measly being under his dependence.

Maybe she was wrong about fairytales.

Maybe he was not her Prince Charming.

Maybe no one was her Prince Charming.

Maybe her saviour was none other than the similar girl she knew before she got married. A girl named Khushi.

Statutory Warning

Again, high on emotions but this one will have much more shorter chapters!
